Transfer of Stock by a Major Citadel Capital S.A.E. Shareholder

The family of the late Youssef Allam have transferred their shares to a new ownership vehicle, but remain committed shareholders in the region's leading private equity firm

Citadel Capital (CCAP.CA on the Egyptian Exchange), the leading private equity firm in Africa and the Middle East, announced today that Mrs. Amina Youssef Abdel Hadi Allam has transferred 18,295,436 shares of Citadel Capital common stock into the name of Cape Collard Investments Ltd.

“We are delighted that Mr. Youssef Allam’s family remains a significant shareholder in Citadel Capital S.A.E.,” noted Citadel Capital Chairman and Founder Ahmed Heikal. “The Allam family has been an important shareholder in Citadel Capital for four years, and we are pleased that Mr. Magdy Dessouki will continue serving on our Board of Directors, now representing Cape Collard Investments.”

Cape Collard Investments Ltd. holds investments on behalf of the heirs of the late Youssef Allam, who until his death in August 2009 was a valued member of the Citadel Capital Board of Directors.
